Carter Buchanan General Actually, the box there should have been for the dispatcher radio which the pole is for. A shame the S line is in this shape now, surprised the code line poles are still up. 3/27/2011 11:34:01 PM

Eugene Cain General This was the location of the Wayside Radio Dispatch Repeater. They were located at Dorchestor, Townsend, Thalmann, Woodbine, and Yulee. CSX came along in 1997 and bulldozed the Concrete Block Structure that existed here prior. The Poles were just left complete with wires after the Tracks were torn up south of riceboro in 1986. Actually, for a brief time, the wires were still "alive" after the abandonment for the section south of Bladen which was still in service. CTC was shut down shortly, however and the Wires went dead. The Sising was on the left. 4/4/2011 10:17:49 PM
